You will play a key role in ensuring technical excellence, compliance with Australian standards, and successful project execution from concept to construction along with cost optimization.**KEY RESPONSABILITIES*** Lead and/or supervise the design of high voltage overhead transmission lines (132kV–500kV).* Perform and/or supervise detailed engineering calculations for conductors, structures, foundations and clearances.* Develop and review design documentation, drawings, specifications and reports.* Ensure compliance with Australian standards (AS/NZS), utility requirements, and safety regulations.* Conduct design risk assessments and constructability reviews.* Interface with clients, project managers, construction teams, and regulatory authorities.* Support tendering, cost estimation and technical proposal development.## **QUALIFICATIONS*** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in overhead transmission line design.* Proven experience in Australian or similar international power networks.* Strong knowledge of relevant standards (AS/NZS 7000, AS 1170, etc.).* Experience with design software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER, AutoCAD, and GIS tools.* Strong communication, leadership and client management skills.* Experience in EPC or utility-side projects highly regarded.## **DESIRABLE SKILLS*** Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or eligible for Engineers Australia registration.* Experience working with major Australian utilities or transmission operators.* Knowledge of environmental and planning approval processes.* Familiarity with construction methodologies.**Seize the challenge.
