We’re looking for a compassionate and capable Facility Manager to oversee the day to day operations of our residential aged care home in the beautiful Darling Downs region of Queensland. This role is perfect for someone who values connection, leads with empathy, and wants to make a real difference in the lives of older Australians.

About the Role

As Facility Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring residents receive the highest quality care, while supporting and empowering your team to deliver their best.

- Leading and mentoring a dedicated team of care and support staff

- Managing budgets, staffing and resources effectively

- Ensuring compliance with aged care standards and legislation

- Fostering a culture of teamwork, respect and continuous improvement

- Building strong, positive relationships with residents, families and the community

You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to keep the home operating smoothly and in line with quality and compliance expectations.

- $145,600 per year

- Salary packaging up to $18,900 (increase your take home pay)

- Relocation allowance up to $5,000 (or eligibility for the Rural LAP relocation incentive for Australian citizens)

- Fully maintained vehicle for business and private use, plus fuel card

- Six months’ accommodation support (utilities not included)

- Ongoing professional development and a supportive team culture

About You

You’re an experienced and confident aged care leader who genuinely cares about people - residents, staff and families alike. To be successful, you’ll have:

- Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Facility Manager in residential aged care

- Sound understanding of aged care funding (AN-ACC) and compliance standards

- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others

- Strong financial and analytical skills, with experience managing budgets

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Current driver’s licence and unrestricted work rights in Australia

- Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Criminal History Check
