We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused 6G Pipe Welder to join the team at a busy Henderson workshop. This is a Short-Term contract starting with 1 week in the Henderson workshop followed up by 1 week on site. An excellent opportunity for an experienced welder with a strong understanding of welding procedures and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform 6G welding primarily in pipe and pressure equipment fabrication.
- Ensure all welding work complies with Australian Standards and company procedures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure structural integrity and finish.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure correct use of PPE at all times.
- Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and workshop personnel.

Skills and Experience:

- Experience in welding (TIG)
- Ability to pass a weld test (6G position).
- Sound knowledge of welding codes and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Requirements:

- Trade Certificate or equivalent in Welding/Fabrication.
- White Card.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
- Other work licenses (e.g., forklift, EWP, etc.) desirable but not essential.
