Qualifications:

- TAE40110 or TAE40116 (including TAEASS501 and TAELLN411) or higher VET teaching qualification

Experience and Knowledge:

- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Understanding and respect for the diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds of the students
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to communicate effectively across large groups
- A confident and flexible approach
- Flexibility to adjust teaching methods based on the needs of individual learners and the dynamics of the classroom
- Proficient in IT systems and MS Office suite
- WorkSafe accredited for forklift (advantage but not mandatory)
- This position will require the applicant to consent to a national police check and other relevant security checks associated with working within a custodial environment
