It starts here. With Bendigo Bank… and you.
At Bendigo Bank, we're all about helping people and communities thrive. We're a bank with a heart, deeply rooted in regional Australia but with a national reach. We're striving to become Australia's most innovative bank, and we need talented people to help us achieve this ambitious vision.
Our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) division guides, protects and amplifies Bendigo Bank's story to our people, customers, communities, and shareholders. To ensure smooth operations, effective communication and strong team engagement across the BCM leadership team we've created a new role for a Divisional Coordinator.

- Organising meetings, workshops, and events.
- Managing document control, information tracking, and action monitoring.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring staff feedback and engagement.
- Maintaining the BMC SharePoint site
- Assisting with divisional planning activities
- Coordinating staff engagement activities
- Supporting team communication initiatives
- Acting as a key contact point for team members
You'll be supporting a close-knit leadership team with diverse perspectives who are focused and work at pace, the environment is non-hierarchical and a safe space where everyone's ideas and opinions are valued. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career, contribute to a large-scale organisation, and make a real difference. We'd love it if you have a background or keen interest in the marketing or communications space, however this is not essential.
This role can be based in Adelaide, Bendigo, Sydney or Melbourne. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model with a minimum requirement of 60% of your time per week in the office.
What you'll bring to the role
- Proven experience in a similar coordination or administrative role, ideally within a marketing or communications environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly SharePoint
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Experience with event planning and management
So, why work with us?
1. Want big impact that matters? Here, you'll know your work directly benefits the customers and communities we all serve.
2. Want to be more than just a number? Join a team that truly values you – and that gets more and more diverse every day.
3. Want career opportunity AND flexibility? Achieve both here, where we know that balance and progression go hand in hand.
You'll also get access to a great range of benefits, including:
- - Hybrid work? Flexible hours? A compressed work week? Our flexible work options are designed to suit your life.
- Health and wellbeing support, including discounted gym memberships, private health insurance options, and our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family members.
We're making better, bigger. And we'll get there with you.
Could you be our new Divisional Coordinator? Now's the time to set your sights higher – on the future you deserve. Apply now Applications close Wednesday 17 September.
At Bendigo and Adelaide Bank we believe a diverse workforce supported by an inclusive culture is central to our success and we actively encourage applications from those who bring diversity of thought to our business. We support candidate requests for adjustment to accommodate an illness, injury, or disability to equitably participate in the selection process.
