About the role
St. Augustine's Primary School, Maryborough is looking for a qualified classroom teacher to join a dynamic and vibrant professional learning community. Applications are sought from enthusiastic and qualified teachers with current VIT registration, a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education as well as the safety and wellbeing of children.
The successful applicant will:
- be a skilled and innovative classroom teacher with a passion for teaching and learning and experience in, or knowledge of, contemporary pedagogical approaches.
- have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education
- have a demonstrated commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.
- be able to demonstrate an understanding in contemporary teaching pedagogies and the analysis and use of data to inform their teaching.
- possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning.
- develop and nurture ongoing positive relationships within our school community, communicate effectively and promote a positive school culture that incorporates shared staff values and beliefs.
- have a current registration with Victorian Institute of Teaching
