What does the job look like?

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking and trustworthy Trade Assistant / Yard Hand to join our team at Erskine Park. In this role, you’ll support our automatic truck wash facility, assist mechanics with hands‑on tasks, help deliver Linfox equipment to vendors and business units, and contribute to general housekeeping duties in the workshop.

You’ll be a motivated self‑starter responsible for cleaning and maintaining our modern fleet of vehicles. We’re looking for someone who thrives working independently in a safe and supportive environment.

Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Participating in and committing to Safety Standards and Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements at all times

- Washing the exterior and interior of trucks and trailers with great attention to detail

- Assisting the trades team with general TA and workshop duties

- Maintaining the truck wash schedule

- Keeping the wash area clean and tidy

Are you the one?

- Previous experience as a Truck or Vehicle Wash Operator is highly regarded

- Minimum of aHC or MC licenceis required

- Basic machine operator experience

- Vehicle or general cleaning experience

- Ability to work with minimal supervision

- Strong work ethic and reliability

- Availability to work3pm -11pm (some over time available)
