Commercial Flatwork Leadman

Bayland Buildings is actively seeking a Commercial Flatwork Leadman to work alongside crew members to complete the Concrete Flatwork on our projects in Green Bay and neighboring areas. This position includes full-time employment, year-round work, complete with competitive compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to be part of our employee-owned company

Core Responsibilities:

- Perform Concrete Flatwork on Commercial, Industrial & Agricultural projects

- Work closely with the Foreman to motivate, train, and mentor a crew of 3-4 concrete tradespeople

- Lead and always maintain a safe and quality work culture

- Assist in planning and organizing daily jobsite operations

- Ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient production

- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather condition and fast‑paced work environment

Key Qualifications:

- Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work

- Read and understand blueprints; required

- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Willingness to travel

- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (0-50 lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80 lbs ground to carry height)

- Ability to perform physical labor

- Ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment

- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions

- Must possess skills to multi‑task and meet deadlines

- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
