The North Canberra Hospital (NCH) Diabetes Service collaborates with Endocrinologists, Diabetes Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Nurse Educators, Dietitians, Nurses, Medical Officers, General Practitioners, Allied Health Professionals and people with diabetes and their support person to provide a team approach to care. Clients seen include adults with diabetes on the wards and outpatient clinic, providing individual and group appointments.

This nursing role requires the ability to provide appropriate skilled clinical assessment for clients with diabetes across NCH Health Campus and provides an excellent foundation in diabetes education.

The Registered Nurse will be professionally responsible to the Credentialed Diabetes Educator and Clinical Nurse Consultant of the NCH Diabetes Service.

Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:

- Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.

Note: This position is part-time at (32) hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
