About Our Client

Greenlam Industries is one of the world's leading manufacturers of decorative surfacing materials, known for its innovation, sustainability, and design excellence. With a presence in over 100 countries, Greenlam is synonymous with quality and creativity in high-pressure laminates (HPL), compact boards, and decorative surfaces. As part of our continued growth in the Asia Pacific region, we are now looking for a dynamic Specification & Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across Australia and New Zealand.

Job Description

Based in Melbourne, this role offers the chance to shape Greenlam's success across ANZ by driving specifications, securing key projects, and developing lasting relationships within the design and construction ecosystem. You will work closely with architects, designers, developers, OEMs, joineries, and distributors to bring Greenlam's products into high-profile commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive product specification and achieve sales targets across HPL, Compact Boards, and MFC product categories.
- Secure high-value projects through strong specification strategies and relationship building.
- Identify and onboard new distributors while strengthening existing partnerships to increase market coverage.
- Build and maintain strong connections with architects, designers, developers, and manufacturers.
- Oversee the project lifecycle from lead generation to completion, ensuring successful product adoption.
- Develop and implement market strategies that enhance Greenlam's visibility and market share.
- Provide technical and design support to stakeholders throughout the specification process.

The Successful Applicant

You're a confident and self-driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and delivering results. With strong technical understanding of decorative materials, you can speak the language of both design and construction.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within building materials or architectural products, ideally HPL or decorative panels.
- Proven success selling laminates, MFC, or decorative panels to distributors and end-users (OEMs, joineries, furniture manufacturers).
- Strong track record in managing distributor channels and securing new partnerships.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Energetic, proactive, and growth-minded attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
- Based in Melbourne, with full work rights, with flexibility to travel across Australia and New Zealand.
