An opportunity waits for a Kitchen Hand in Dulwich Hill reporting to Operations Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up, serving, and clearing dining room and setting up food trolley for delivery of meals to residents
- Assist in the provision of catering services within the facility
- General cleanliness of all kitchen equipment used in the production of food and work surfaces
- Preparation of coffee and tea and serve for Residents
- Wash all dishes used
- Assist with food service as directed by cook
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
- Experience in Aged Care (Preferred)
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Knowledge and understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hazard identification.
- Prior training or experience in food safety
- The ability to follow kitchen cleaning schedules
- Reliable and hard working
