Job Title: Locum Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team at Your Doctor Jobs.

Gastroenterologists diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, including stomach and intestinal problems. This role is ideal for medical professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outpatient clinics to assess patients with gastrointestinal symptoms
  • Perform surgical procedures in theatre, including endoscopies and colonoscopies
  • Triage patients and prepare them for histology tests

Dates and Availability:

  • 4 consecutive week blocks available from March to May 2025
  • Flexibility to work additional days if required

Rates and Benefits:

  • $2,800 per day
  • Flights, accommodation, and car provided

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
  • Full Medical Indemnity Insurance
