Microsoft .Net Developer

Cooper Grace Ward has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Microsoft .NET Developer to join our Information Technology team on a 12-month contract.
You will manage the full software development lifecycle, overseeing design, development, implementation and maintenance of custom applications within the Microsoft .NET Framework, including .NET Core and Microsoft Blazor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements, design, develop, and deploy software solutions and data integrations across environments
- Ensure secure handling and storage of data in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop high-quality unit, integration and automated tests
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise work and provide regular status updates
- Provide advanced support for escalated incidents and manage change processes
- Explore and integrate AI-driven technologies such as Large Language Models and Generative AI to enhance business processes
- 5+ years hands-on experience in software development in a corporate IT environment
- Proficient in Microsoft .NET Framework (C# and VB.NET), .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Microsoft Blazor, CSS, HTML
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS
- Skilled in Web API development (RESTful or SOAP)
- Advantageous: Experience or interest in AI/ML integration and Microsoft certifications such as MSCD
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong business acumen
- Strong customer orientation and able to manage customer expectations
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
