This is a hunter Sales role, for a highly motivated individual, driven to succeed covering new business Product sales.
As a Product Account Executive - APAC, you will be responsible for selling our SaaS products designed exclusively for Workday, which currently include Kainos Smart (Smart Test, Smart Audit, and Smart Shield) and Kainos Employee Document Management (EDM).
You will own the sales cycle from Discovery to Close and collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Sales Development, Product, and Pre-sales teams to execute on a territory sales plan.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, passionate, highly strategic, and competitive by nature, with the ability to partner with stakeholders internally and externally to achieve the best results for prospects and Kainos. While sales is naturally competitive and a key part of the role, teamwork and maintaining a positive team culture are essential.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing multiple, concurrent deal cycles, maintaining accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
- Executing the Kainos Product Sales Process and utilizing industry-standard sales methodologies, such as MEDDPICCR and SPIN, to secure new sales.
- Accurately reflecting sales performance in CRM and reporting pipeline to sales leadership.
- Facilitating discovery sessions with clients to understand their Workday environment and challenges.
- Prospecting through multiple channels to identify high-value opportunities.
- Demonstrating Kainos suite of Smart automation and EDM products, advising on how to maximize ROI on Workday, both virtually and in person.
- Assessing customer needs and explaining how our products can meet those needs.
- Developing and executing sales strategies and growing relationships within your territory.
- Building and maintaining relationships within your assigned territory.
- Supporting marketing activities and events.
Minimum essential requirements:
- Expertise in business development and deal negotiations, including constructing complex commercial offers, creating successful account plans, and achieving targets.
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels, including executive and C-level.
- Proven success in Enterprise Software or Solution Sales with a track record of meeting targets.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation skills, both commercially and contractually, with experience in resolving escalations and issues.
- Exceptional presentation skills (in-person and remote).
- Willingness and ability to travel to the designated sales territory at least once per quarter.
Desirable:
- Strong academic background — degree level or equivalent.
- Experience within the Workday ecosystem.
