We are seeking an Onshore Maintenance Manager to join our INPEX Operations team in Darwin working on the Ichthys LNG (ILNG) facility.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead Maintenance Execution: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the maintenance execution team, covering planned and unplanned scopes, shutdowns, coating and insulation, project execution, and campaign maintenance activities.

Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with INPEX’s HSE policies. Reinforce process safety and occupational health as top priorities, conduct site visits, and actively participate in the Incident Management Team.

Team & Workforce Management: Manage a dedicated team to safely coordinate, plan, and execute maintenance and project activities. Oversee workforce planning, career development, and skills capability across the onshore maintenance teams.

Stakeholder & Contract Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors. Manage contracts and interfaces with teams such as Production, Shutdown, Operations Projects and Production Planning.

Continuous Improvement & Performance: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance execution processes. Develop and maintain performance metrics and targets, and ensure regular review, audit, and communication of results.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate key risks associated with maintenance and execution activities. Ensure timely management of HSE, business, and reputational risks.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to multi-year maintenance and execution plans and budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual delivery plans and improve business and maintenance strategies.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure staff and contractors are familiar with and comply with relevant regulatory obligations, technical standards, and safety cases. Monitor compliance and maintain competency records.

Technical Oversight: Maintain a strong understanding of plant processes, layouts, and equipment configurations. Evaluate and implement new technologies to support efficient and cost-effective maintenance execution.

Successful candidates will have:

- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Maintenance-related trade discipline (or equivalent extensive maintenance management experience).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage large teams and contractors.
- Experience in operations and maintenance within large hydrocarbon facilities.
- Familiarity with Australian regulations and operational systems such as SAP.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
