What We Are Looking For

My client is seeking an experienced Virtualisation Administrator to join their Global Infrastructure team as part of an ongoing VMware to OpenShift migration program.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure and maintain VMware and OpenShift Virtualisation clusters on‑premises

- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal operation and high availability

- Manage user access, permissions and security best practices for containerised applications

- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to optimise applications running on OpenShift

- Lead conversions from VMware to OpenShift Virtualisation and manage existing VMware environments

Technical Requirements

- 2+ years’ experience as an OpenShift Virtualisation Administrator or similar infrastructure role

- Strong understanding of OpenShift Virtualisation, Kubernetes architecture and containerised environments

- Knowledge of networking concepts and configurations in virtualised environments

- Problem‑solving ability under pressure with excellent communication and collaboration skills

- OpenShift, RedHat or VMware certifications are advantageous
