Location: Aveo Sydney CBD Corporate Office | 4 Days On-Site & 1 Day WFH

Reports To: Manager – Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

The Opportunity

As our Senior Accounts Payable Analyst, you will partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the seamless delivery of accounts payable services. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth invoice processing, timely vendor payments, whilst delivering customer-focused service to both internal and external stakeholders. This new role will provide a unique opportunity to improve efficiencies within the AP team and help shape the future of financial operations at Aveo.

Your Impact

- Monitor daily invoice processing and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Act as the key liaison with our AP system vendor, driving improvements and system enhancements.
- Analyse invoice exception trends and develop solutions to boost straight-through processing rates.
- Provide responsive support for escalated AP queries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage vendor payment runs, ensuring compliance with agreed payment terms.
- Deliver timely and accurate ad-hoc or priority payments when required.
- Produce and analyse operational reporting, sharing insights with the AP & AR Manager to identify improvements.
- Support audit and compliance requirements by maintaining accurate financial documentation.

What you'll bring

- Strong knowledge of the invoice lifecycle and AP processes, with proven accuracy in high-volume environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong vendor relationships.
- Analytical skills to identify process gaps and recommend solutions for improvement.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Experience with AP automation systems (e.g. TechOne CiA)
