Continue a Fulfilling Career in Horticulture

We are currently searching for a 2nd Year Apprentice within Parks & Gardens, to join Green by Nature across a variety of prestigious sites including private schools, universities, parks, and botanical gardens. You'll work alongside skilled professionals to maintain and enhance green spaces, while also attending weekly classroom sessions to build your theoretical knowledge.

Throughout the program, you'll receive expert mentorship and practical training, leading to a nationally recognised Cert III trade qualification. Upon completion, you'll be well-prepared to step into leadership roles such as Team Leader or Site Manager, equipped with the confidence and skills to make a lasting impact in the field of horticulture.

What You'll Learn

- Plant recognition, care and maintenance
- Plant nutrition programs
- Pest and disease management
- Irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Specialist transplanting, pruning and mowing operations
- Safety protocols and equipment operation

Responsibilities

As an apprentice, you will work across a variety of sites and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of green spaces under expert mentorship. You will participate in weekly classroom sessions to build theoretical knowledge and apply learning on-site.

About You

- No prior experience required
- Valid Driver's licence is desirable but not essential
- Valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
- Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain)
