About the Role

We have a new position available for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on night shift (10pm – 6am) to support the hygiene team and manage the equipment.

The starting rate is $42.2100 + 30% shift loading = $54.873.

Please note:

- You will be required to work day shift for the first 6-8 weeks of your employment.
- Your rate can be increased to $49.4000 once you are more experienced at our site and with our equipment.

Responsibilities include:

- Maintaining/ensuring the performance of our hygiene equipment
- Effectively and accurately document all work performed.
- Identify needed and/or consumed parts and materials, then research and order them as required.
- Work with other employees in a team atmosphere to meet deadlines.
- Repairing and servicing faulty equipment/structure if required.
- Participating in continuous improvements and problem-solving initiatives
- Ensure immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work

About you:

- Proficient in Electrical and Mechanical trades
- Experience in a fast-moving, high volume food manufacturing environment
- Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving capacity
- Must be able to operate a computer using basic software applications such as email, Word, Excel, and CMMS (SAP).
