The Role

Join an award winning, fun and professional team of LandscapeArchitects and Project Managers and play a key role in managing thedelivery of an exciting variety of landscape construction projects.Projects will range from the upgrade of existing park andplaygrounds to the redevelopment of major sportsfields.
The role involves satisfaction driving end to end projects, building strong industryrelationships and putting your project management, analytical andproblem-solving skills to good use.
About you
This role requires an experienced Landscape Architect/Manager to coordinate a team of qualified Landscape Architects and Project Managers to deliver projects that involve design coordination, procurement, budget management, workssupervision and contract administration to a high standard. The Senior Landscape Architect position is responsible for providing landscape architectural services and advice for the planning, development and delivery of high quality, vibrant and functional public open spaces in the growth and developed areas of the municipality.
You are a well organised and driven professional who thrives on the challenges with everyday aspects of a professional LandscapeArchitect and Manager of a contractors and consultants. You enjoy motivating and collaborating with your staff members, assisting and mentoring more junior staff and a willing and enthusiastic contributor to our team culture. You have a willingness to learn, listen and improve on all your professional skillset and you have a drive and enthusiasm to deliver on our teams’ wide and extensive capital program.
You have substantial experience in planning, designing, project management and landscape construction. You thrive on finding solutions to challenges and can quickly build rapport with a wider range of stakeholders. You enjoy working independently yet appreciate the value of a collaborative team environment.
Selection criteria include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture, OpenSpace Planning or other relevant complimentary qualifications.
- Construction Industry OHS Induction Training Registration(“White Card” or equivalent).
- Motor vehicle licence required
