Underground Field Service - HD Fitter - Macmahon Maintenance Masters

Macmahon Maintenance Masters (MMM) provides labour support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day

Duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

- Scheduled Services, minor rebuilds & ongoing preventive maintenance to a medium fleet of various underground machinery.
- Diagnose, Problem solve & Fault find
- Identify, interpret & repair for reuse any parts & accessories
- Meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes in a busy, fully equipped modern workshop
- Able to work in a multi-cultural work environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised at times

Skills & Requirements:

- Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology)
- Current Manual Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
- Proven experience on underground equipment
- Proven experience with major components; including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drivers and minor components such as pumps and cylinders
- Exceptional diagnostic & troubleshooting skills
