Workforce Partner (HR Adviser)

About the Role

Congress is expanding and looking for a skilled Workforce Partner (HR Adviser) to join our Human Resources team in Alice Springs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support across HR matters, coaching, mentoring, and supporting managers with contemporary people management practices.
  • Contribute to HR strategies, policies, and projects implementation.
  • Undertake case management for ER matters including workplace investigations, grievance resolution, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
  • Support managers in workforce planning in collaboration with the Recruitment team.
  • Educate, coach, and advise managers on their management responsibilities.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting.
Qualifications
  • Diploma level qualification in human resources or relevant field, or extensive practical experience. AHRI certified HR practitioner desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum of two years' experience dealing with employee relations matters.
  • Experience providing coaching and advice related to human resources.
  • Case management experience of employee or industrial relation matters.
Skills

  • Knowledge of relevant HR policies and compliance.
