[Urgent] Sports Coach

About us

NLS is NSW's number-one provider of sports coaches for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils. We are looking for sports coaches in Bathurst Area to join our team, with opportunities for Soccer, Netball, Athletics, Fitness, Touch and other sports. All coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. Coaching experience isn't required, though it is preferred; a good knowledge and playing experience of the sport is required.

Schedule

We have morning (6.30AM - 9AM), in-school time (9AM - 3PM) and after-school (3PM - 5PM) positions available. Both midweek and weekend work are available.

Qualifications & Experience

- Sports coaching / playing experience
- PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
- Child Protection Training (Preferred)
- First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Sports Coaching
- Attend and conduct all training sessions
- Attend and facilitate all competition games (As Required)
- Being Reliable and Organised

Additional Skills & Abilities

- Knowledge of standard coaching practices
- Independently handle multiple sporting priorities
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, administrators, and at times parents / guardians
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual students
- Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse community
