Team Member Town Services Tumut

THE JOB

Council is seeking a reliable and dedicated person who enjoys working outdoors, doing physical work and is competent in the effective and safe use of plant and equipment including commercial mowers, chainsaws, chippers and stump grinders. This position will provide support to arborists in tree maintenance work, implement the large area mowing program and undertake cemetery maintenance including grave site preparation as required. While the position will be based in Tumut, work will be carried out across the local government area. Snowy Valleys Council is a scenic and heritage rich local government area in the South-West Slopes region of New South Wales which spans 8959km2 with approximately 15,000 residents living in a number of vibrant and unique towns, villages and rural properties. THE BENEFITS

- This is a permanent full time position working 76 hours/fortnight on a 9 day/fortnight arrangement

- This position salary range is $2,265.40 to $2,549.80 per fortnight (gross) plus 12% superannuation Salary offered within the range will be based on qualifications, skills and experience
