The School of Health at UniSC Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs, is seeking a Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics Clinical Education. This is a full-time, ongoing appointment at Academic Level B, with a salary range of $114,751 - $136,143 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation.

The successful applicant will play a vital part in shaping the next generation of nutrition and dietetics professionals by supervising, training, assessing, and supporting students on professional placements. They will also manage clients attending our Nutrition and Dietetic clinics, collaborate with placement partners, professional bodies, and the community, and work closely with discipline staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing, or a minimum of ten years of clinical experience as an accredited professional in the field of study. You will also have evidence of Accredited Practising Dietitian status, effectiveness as a teacher, and experience with managing the nutrition care process of individual clients/patients.

Desirable attributes include experience undertaking academic administrative functions, e.g., course coordination, within a University, and Accredited Sports Dietitian status as recognised by Sports Dietitians Australia.
