Role Overview

As part of our busy Domestic Infield Service team our Plumbers work both locally in the Mackay and surrounding regions (Mackay and Isaac Regional Council) and occasionally throughout the Bowen Basin (accommodation, meals and PPE provided as required).

This position is based from our head office in Mackay (no FIFO option available) and offers the freedom and opportunity to work on a wide range of pumping and water treatment projects from various industries.

Role Responsibilities

- Conduct routine servicing, repair and maintenance of:

- Oil water separators (Onsite Sewage Facility)

- Backflow prevention devices (RPZ)

- Water treatment and sewage treatment plants and pipelines

- Strip, assess and troubleshoot pumps and pumping equipment to identify issues, faults and concerns
- Recording of servicing information, photographs and other documentation relevant to the job
- Assist with installation, servicing and repairs to water and waste water treatment plants
- Ensure work complies with relevant standards and safety codes
- Manual Driver’s Licence
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals and parts information
- Supply own hand tools

Desirable, but not essential

- Backflow Prevention and Onsite Sewage Facility endorsements
- Confined Space
- HR Truck Licence
- Machinery Operation experience / certifications.
