We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Babblers at The Star Brisbane.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, leadership role which will assist in the effective running of the F&B outlet. You will be responsible for improving guest satisfaction by maintaining efficiency of service, general product and technical knowledge, and exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism.

Your Responsibilities
  • Supervise team members and assist the leadership team with any training and development needed for team members.
  • Monitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure high standards are always maintained.
  • Ensure a high level of guest experience is always provided in the venues and is professional, hospitable, timely, effective, and efficient.
  • Set specific daily performance objectives for all team members and supervise the service flow.
  • Makes recommendations to the Venue Manager that will assist in maximising revenue and minimise costs.

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a similar role, managing large teams with confidence and effectiveness.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment while juggling multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • A strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • 24/7 availability and adaptability to various scheduling needs.
  • Expertise in building rapport with a diverse range of guests, ensuring exceptional experiences for everyone.

You will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, showcasing your ability to lead, mentor and encourage your team. Your thorough understanding of RSA compliance coupled with your RSA Certificate, will see you create a safe environment for guests and team members alike.
