Your impact, with us

As our highly valued Associate Cardiologist, you’ll use your specialist cardiology skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Based in Crains, you’ll be the driving force of interventional and non‑interventional cardiology treatment, helping to improve people’s health and lives and shaping our organisation’s future.

You’ll make a meaningful impact by:

- Consulting with and monitoring general cardiology patients—private, inpatient and outpatient—to understand their symptoms and health concerns
- Performing a broad spectrum of cardiology investigations, including exercise stress tests, ECGs, holter and event monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, transthoracic/trans-oesophageal and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- Performing interventional procedures: angiogram, angioplasty and stenting, cardioversion, trans-oesophageal echocardiogram
Participating in research initiatives and collaborating with colleagues in a true group practice model to build our knowledge and nurture a supportive team culture

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:

● Registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority
● Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, including sub‑specialty training and recognition in cardiology
● Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number to provide specialist services
● A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to improving Australia’s heart health
