Field Representative

About the Role

We're looking for a Casual Field Representative to join Retail Select Team and provide a range of services in the hardware and gardening departments at the Bunnings stores in the Grafton/Coffs Harbour area. You will work with our products across Dulux, Selleys, Yates and Cabots to continue to grow and win in the marketplace. As a member of our team, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.

The focus of the role is to deliver in-store visual merchandising services aligned to a specific our service level agreements and to support, train and deliver in-store projects. You will be an in-store ambassador for our business and build strong relationships with both the Bunnings and the DuluxGroup teams.

In this autonomous role, you will play a key role in enabling our sales teams to execute their roles, support their in-store strategies and provide the best possible shopping experience for our consumers. You will also have the opportunity to understand our marketing fundamentals from the ground up. Although this is a casual role there are multiple pathways for development into other businesses within the DuluxGroup and/or full-time roles.

This is a casual role offering flexibility to choose your own start times and work days

Please note: Due to the nature of merchandising, this position can be somewhat physically challenging from time to time.

Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining key customer relationships

- Ordering, merchandising, and stock presentation (including manual handling)

- Maintaining in-store displays

- Ensuring products are priced and ticketed correctly

- Assist with major planogram initiatives

Skills & Experience

- Previous sales and merchandising experience in retail and hardware (desirable but not essential)

- Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Hold a valid driver’s license and have your own vehicle

- Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively use technology and various digital applications and systems

- Strong time management, prioritisation skills and own initiative
