Overview

A warm and active family in Wurtulla, Qld is seeking an experienced, engaging, and reliable nanny to care for their two children, aged 2.5 and 4 years. This is a long-term role based on the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, ideally suited to someone passionate about early childhood development and outdoor adventures.

Regular Schedule

- Days: 4-5 days per week (Between Mon – Fri)
- Hours: 8.30–4.00pm

There is flexibility for less or additional days/hours for the right candidate

Qualifications

- Experience & Qualifications: A university degree in early childhood or education (strongly preferred), or a minimum of 5 years of recent experience caring for toddlers and preschoolers
- Driver's License & Transport: Current driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record required. Family car may be available for use, or car seats will be provided for your own vehicle
- Other Requirements: Current First Aid & CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain); Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Role Responsibilities

- Daily learning and age-appropriate educational activities
- Outdoor play and physical engagement (must be fit and active)
- Meal and snack preparation for children; occasional family meal prep during nap time
- Light household duties: tidying, dishes, laundry, etc.
- Participation in the children's scheduled weekly activities and excursions
- Bonus: Ability to play a musical instrument
