Job Description

As Director of Finance, you’ll partner closely with the General Manager, Ownership and Leadership team to deliver exceptional financial performance, ensure compliance, and support sustainable growth. This role is perfect for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and brings a strategic yet hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the finance function across all hotel operations (rooms, food & beverage, events, and more).

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support commercial decision-making.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and monthly reporting.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and company policies.

Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Partner with department heads to maximise revenue, manage costs, and drive profitability.

Act as a key liaison with auditors, owners, and corporate stakeholders.

Qualifications

About You

Proven experience in a senior finance role within hospitality, hotels, or a related industry.

A strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and F&B cost controls.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to get hands-on when required.

Passionate about hospitality, with a drive to contribute to Hyde’s culture and success.
