Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12. We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years. With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

The Narre Warren South Campus is seeking a Part-Time Secondary Science Teacher to teach both Junior and Senior Science to commence in January 2026. This role is currently offered at 0.6 FTE, with the possibility of additional classes or responsibilities for candidates seeking a larger load.

Responsibilities

- Teach Junior and Senior Science at the Narre Warren South Campus

- Contribute to the broader College programs and opportunities as needed

- Engage with students to support their personal and academic development

Qualifications

- Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

- Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement

- Be able to teach Junior and Senior Science

- Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education

- Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities

- Have high level communication and interpersonal skills
