Position Overview

Role: Prison Cleaner

Contract: Casual (potential permanent placement)

Pay: $32.31 per hour plus Superannuation

Location: Marngoneet Correctional Centre, Lara, VIC

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 12:00PM

Your Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize offices, reception areas, workshops, bathrooms, and communal spaces
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and surfaces
- Perform bio‑cleaning tasks when required

What You Will Need

- A reliable vehicle and valid Driver’s License
- Physical ability to kneel, lift, and stand for extended periods
- A recent National Police Check (under 6 months)
- Ability to pass a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol testing
