We are seeking to establish a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants (EA) for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional EAs to join our team.

Under teacher direction, the Mainstream Education Assistant would assist in the delivery of planned education programs, which could include small group work, that will help in the development of young minds. You would also help maintain the learning environment by keeping equipment, materials and resources organised and ready for use in class, ensuring that the classroom is kept safe and clean.

In this role, suitable applicants will ideally collaborate and work in a team environment with the teacher, students and school community. As an EA, the ideal applicants should possess good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents and teaching staff. In addition, applicants who are highly organised and able to work independently with limited supervision are highly desired.
