About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Police Promotions Officer to join the Police Promotions, Recruitment, Transfers & Appointments team at People and Capability Command. This role contributes to the smooth operation of the police promotions process by supporting key administrative functions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within set time frames.

As part of Police Promotions, you’ll contribute to a fair and transparent system that directly impacts the future leadership of the NSW Police Force. You’ll collaborate with a range of stakeholders, handle confidential information with care, and use digital systems to support accurate and efficient record-keeping.

The position is full-time and based at Sydney Olympic Park.

Target Question 1:
In this role you are required to undertake the auditing and updating of electronic records at various stages of the promotions process. Referencing your relevant experience, provide an example on how you have successfully worked in achieving work outputs and meeting deadlines at various stages of a human resource process.

Target Question 2:
The successful applicant will be proactive, solutions-focused, and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude. Communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role. Provide an example of a time when you applied your communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with others and achieve a positive outcome.

Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $99,938 to $110,271 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
