What you’ll be doing in this role
Role: Home Care Cleaner specializing in serving our aged clients. You’ll provide domestic assistance for older people living in their own homes, to help empower their independence and improve their quality of life in the Northern Rivers and surrounding areas. This role involves travelling between client’s homes with a two (2) hour service using your own car.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens and other living spaces according to schedules.
- Change bed linen, make beds, and ensure overall comfort and hygiene.
- Assist with laundry
- Transport services
- Assist with shopping
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure the well-being of clients
- Services are generally between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday to Friday
What you will need
- Australian Federal Police Clearance
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
- Smartphone with internet access
- You’ll be flexible and prepared to help meet the changing needs and schedules of our home care clients.
- You’ll be empathetic and resourceful and be able to live the Right at Home everyday values of being Approachable, Collaborative, Authentic, Integrity and Accountable.
