Then you might be our new Test Engineer in Danfoss Drives, Gråsten.

Danfoss Drives is a market leader in development and manufacturing of state-of-the-art AC drives and is one of the largest electronics manufacturers in Denmark. The drives are customized to fit the exact need of the customer and are delivered with a very short lead time. The manufacturing setup is heavily automated on the shopfloor as well as the internal processes. The test team is responsible for 100 parallel test systems that is performing electrical tests and software configuration of variable speed drives in power ranges from 0.25 kW to 90 kW.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Debugging/troubleshoot test hardware (data acquisition, contactors/relays, motors, generators, transformers, fixtures)
- Exploit data analysis to improve performance of the test hardware.
- Monitoring of test capacity.
- Continue our Six sigma journey within production test by defining, analyzing and implementing changes to improve first pass yield on 100 fully automated parallel test systems.
- Document and handover best practices to maintenance department and technicians.
- Assist in releasing new product software for production.

You will be a part of the Production Technique and Quality team that consists of highly engaged, passionate and experienced colleagues. Together we work on minimizing variance within our production setup to ensure world class quality performance internally as well as towards our customers.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a candidate with a background as electronics, electrical or mechatronics enginee. It is expected that you speak and write English and is willing to learn Danish. The following competences are a plus:

- Experience with Six Sigma methodology – Green Belt or greater.
- Experience with statistics and big data.
- Speaks English fluently, willing to learn Danish.
- LabView / Microsoft PowerBI / Oracle SQL / Python / National TestStand experience.
- Knowledge of AC drives and motors.

This position calls for a highly structured person with the ability to take full responsibility and ownership of the ongoing software releases and improvement projects. The right candidate collaborates and communicates well with various stakeholders e.g. engineers, project managers, planners and technicians.
