About the Role
Our Townsville Plant is currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our high performing team in a full-time capacity.
This is a unique opportunity to join a global organisation with a local community feel.
A $5,000 sign-on bonus will be offered to successful candidates (conditions apply).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Undertaking continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
- Being actively involved with inspections of equipment undergoing rebuild or repair
- Taking a proactive approach in the implementation of preventative maintenance
About You
- Must have Fitter and Turner trade qualifications
- Previous experience with maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment advantageous
- Ability to demonstrate integrity and a professional work attitude
- Sound computer skills
- Ability to work a rotating roster consisting of both day and afternoon shifts

The plant employs approximately 500 team members with a processing capacity of 900 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week.
