We are recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in Australia's Defence environment and support national security requirements.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Regional Operations and Maintenance Superintendent, the Site Supervisor will work with the Tank Superintendent to ensure timely and effective delivery of inspection and maintenance programs in line with Maintenance & Asset Management scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning, coordinating, and reporting on all onsite maintenance activities across Defence sites.
2. Setting up work site in accordance with maintenance engineering plans and safety plans including barricading and safe vehicle movements.
3. Liaising with suppliers, contractors, defence personnel, supervisors, and superintendents.
4. Overseeing daily functions of work site including weekend and out of hours work if required.
5. Preparing, supporting, checking, and submitting site documentation for permits and other required procedures.
6. Working with supervisors, contractors, and workers to ensure safety compliance to UGL and Defence HSSE requirements.
7. Monitoring, documenting, and gaining approvals for variations to approved scope.
8. Interpreting maintenance plans, drawings, specifications, and designs.
9. Assisting in the development of maintenance methodologies and safety documentation.
10. Overseeing the delivery of materials and equipment and associated assurance activities.
11. Preparing estimates for maintenance costs.
12. Monitoring and setting standards for maintenance execution quality assurance.
13. Monitoring maintenance schedule progress.
14. Managing the maintenance activities within budget and time constraints.

The following ideal attributes are highly desired, but if you do not tick all the boxes, you could still be a great fit:

1. Site Supervisor or Site Engineer (Mechanical) within fuel networks.
2. Experience in maintenance supervision.
3. Quality Assurance and Control.
4. Technical ability working around hazardous fuel facilities.
5. Defence experience is desirable.
