About the Role:

Due to continued growth, Mader Group are currently seeking Boilermakers to join our roaming shutdown crew servicing the Bowen Basin and Gailee Mines. Multiple sites, multiple rosters, 4-6 week shutdowns.

- Fixed Plant Maintenance - planned & unplanned including breakdown repairs

- Performing maintenance on CHPP equipment, crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps & more

- Welding and Fabrication duties

What do I need to join?

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Cert III or equivalent)

- Drivers Licence (required)

- Desirable: Confined Space, Working at Heights, Gas testing atmospheres, Forklift/HR license, Construction white card etc. (willing to obtain)

- QLD Coal Board Medical (highly regarded)

- Standard 11 SOA (highly regarded)

- National Police Check within 6 months or willing to obtain one

- Previous mining or heavy industrial experience (2+ years ideal)

- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills

- Commitment to working safely and effectively in a team environment

- Motivated, hardworking and reliable with a professional attitude
