A nationally established law firm is looking for a seasoned solicitor to pursue a long-term career with a top-tier firm in their Melbourne Office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in Insurance Law / PI. The firm works with corporations, not-for-profit organisations, the public sector, and ASX200 companies. The firm prides itself in its maintenance of client relationships, but also in retainment of quality solicitors with extensive support, benefits and acknowledgement of achievement.
Conditions for Success
- 4+ Years of PQE with extensive exposure to Insurance Law matters, specifically in Personal Injury.
- Experience in Property Damage cases is highly regarded
- Attention to detail - Expert analysis of legal matters, research & drafting skills, and task prioritization
- Experience in Business Development & readily ability to manage client expectations
Your Responsibilities
- On average, 6.5 billable hours per day are expected of senior solicitors
- Drafting correspondence and documents and reviewing them and other client files while preparing advice.
- Provide tailored advice to clients on their unique cases while keeping in view the broader perspective and integrating other client-related factors
- Establish and maintain client relationships and expectations through regular and effective communication.
- Appear before Courts of all levels
- Your role will revolve primarily around defendant work within Insurance Law and Personal Injury.
