Primero is currently recruiting Project Engineers with SMP experience to join our Site Project Team on a $1 billion EPC expansion project.
We are looking for 2 experienced Piping Engineers and 1 Mechanical/Structural Engineer.
All roles are FIFO 2:1 roster.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage Sub-Contractor packages to ensure zero delivery delays and on-site rectification works.
- Read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, schematics, and other engineering documentation.
- Maintain, update, and report on the project schedule in line with current progress, delivery schedules, and site activities.
- Review and manage all vendor-supplied equipment regarding installation, commissioning, and quality requirements.
- Ensure delivery of all items within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Liaise between on-site construction teams and Perth-based engineers.
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work.
What You ‘Can Do’
- Experience in multi-discipline EPC projects.
- Significant SMP experience on major projects.
- Experience managing multiple packages.
- Experience in quality control and assurance management and implementation.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, schematics, and other engineering documents.
