At VetPartners, we pride ourselves on delivering shared services that help our veterinary clinics thrive. We’re now looking for an experienced P&C Business Partner to join our collaborative and forward-thinking People team.
As a trusted partner to leaders across our multi-site veterinary network, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our leaders with employee relations advice, driving positive workplace culture, and supporting our teams through every stage of the employee journey.

What you’ll be doing
- Partner with Leaders: Guide and support managers across all stages of the employee lifecycle — onboarding, performance management, engagement, and offboarding — to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Employee Relations: Provide advice on complex employee matters, including performance, grievances, investigations and compliance, while helping managers build strong, high‑performing teams.
- Champion Wellbeing: Drive initiatives that promote mental health and wellbeing, equipping leaders with the tools to foster safe, inclusive, and supportive workplaces.
- Ensure Compliance: Oversee policy and legislative adherence across all employment practices, proactively identifying risks and maintaining high standards of integrity and safety.
- Drive Cultural Excellence: Be an ambassador for VetPartners’ values, leading initiatives that strengthen engagement, inclusion, and our shared purpose.
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar generalist HR role.
- Strong expertise in employee relations and change management, with the confidence to influence and coach leaders.
- Experience working within multi‑site operations, balancing commercial insight with people‑first thinking.
- Proven capability managing the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, including remuneration reviews and performance management processes.
- Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, empathetic approach to supporting workplace wellbeing and positive culture.
