About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to join our dynamic infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise‑level Linux environments, focusing on automation, configuration management, and system reliability. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, performance, and security of Linux‑based systems while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives across cloud and DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, support, and maintain RHEL/Red Hat systems and related infrastructure

- Automate and configure systems using Ansible and Jinja

- Manage and troubleshoot LDAP, Perl, and sysadmin‑supported applications

- Handle patching and provisioning through Red Hat Satellite

- Configure and maintain BIND and DNS environments

- Manage version control using Git/GitHub

- Work within ServiceNow for incident, request, and change management

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver infrastructure improvements and cloud‑based automation

Essential Skills & Experience

Primarily:

- Ansible and Jinja for configuration management

- LDAP and Perl scripting experience

- RHEL/Red Hat OS administration and general sysadmin applications support

- Red Hat Satellite expertise

- BIND and DNS management

- Git/GitHub for version control

- ServiceNow agent experience

Secondary (Desirable)

- Web server administration (Apache, Nginx)

- Scripting in Bash and Python

- Squid proxy configuration

- VMware support and management

- Load balancing with Big IP/F5 LTM

- OpenSSL and certificate management

- Terraform for infrastructure as code

- Familiarity with Isilon and EMC PowerMAX storage solutions

Cloud & DevOps

- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools and practices
