Are you a skilled communicator with a flair for turning complex data into compelling stories? We’re seeking an experienced Annual Report Writer to lead the creation of an annual report for a respected professional membership organisation in the medical field.
This is a remote, part-time contract (approx. 3–4 months) ideal for someone who thrives on producing high-quality written work and enjoys collaborating with professionals in the health and scientific community.
About the Organisation
Our client is a leading membership-based professional body representing specialists, researchers, and public health leaders across Australia and New Zealand. They are dedicated to advancing research, education, and advocacy to improve health outcomes across the region.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing, writing, and coordinating the organisation’s Annual Report — transforming detailed organisational activities, achievements, and data into a cohesive, engaging publication that reflects their purpose and impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing clear, accurate, and engaging content summarising the organisation’s annual activities and achievements.
- Translating data, metrics, and charts into meaningful narrative.
- Collaborating with senior leadership and key stakeholders to gather content and feedback.
- Ensuring the final report is cohesive, well-structured, and visually engaging (working with a designer as needed).
About You
You have:
- 3–5 years’ experience in professional writing, ideally across annual reports, medical, or association-based content.
- Strong ability to translate technical or data-heavy information into accessible, high-quality copy.
- Excellent project management and editorial coordination skills.Experience working with associations, membership bodies, or the health/medical sector.
- Strong attention to detail and a polished, professional writing style.
Contract Details
- Start date: November 2025
- Duration: Approx. 3–4 months (15 hours a week)
- Location: Remote in Australia
