About Our Home

Located in the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide, nestled in leafy Tea Tree Gully, Ridgehaven Aged Care is collocated with the Ridgehaven Rise Retirement Village, a short drive from the Tea Tree Plaza Shopping precinct.

Home to 132 residents we offer light‑filled, spacious single rooms with private or shared ensuite and a choice of outlooks to landscaped garden beds and courtyards.

The Role

- Putting equipment (e.g. mobility aids) and resident shopping into the bus

- Folding and unfolding mobility aids

- Staying with residents to allow staff to attend to other needs

- Engaging with residents, encouraging and supporting them to engage in outings

- Aiding residents with simple mobilisation including pushing a resident in a wheelchair (where trained to do so)

- Share with the Activities Officer / Lifestyle Coordinator at the end of your shift, a list of residents you have spoken to and information on topics discussed

- Deliver a high level of customer service, including the timely provision of agreed services to residents/clients and internal customers

- Drive in accordance with road and safety requirements, maintaining due care at all times

Qualifications

- LR, MR or HR Class License for driving buses of 16 passenger capacity or less

- Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices (desirable)

- Ability to use computer software (Word and Excel)

- NDIS Worker Check/Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

- First Aid & CPR Certificate (desirable)

- Driving & Traffic History to be provided (or willingness to obtain)
