Ayan Infotech is looking for a Guidewire Claims Architect for a full-time permanent position in Sydney or Melbourne. We are also considering candidates for a Guidewire Business Architect role.

Applicants must have full unrestricted work rights in Australia due to the nature of the work.

Title: Guidewire Claims Architect
Location: Sydney or Melbourne (other locations within Australia considered for highly skilled candidates)
Type: Full-time permanent

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years in enterprise software architecture, with at least 5 years in Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Deep understanding of P&C insurance claims processes
- Proficiency in Guidewire Studio, GOSU, and ClaimCenter configuration
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
- Knowledge of integration technologies (SOAP/REST, MQ, ESB)
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Certifications

- Guidewire ClaimCenter Certified Specialist or Architect
- TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certifications
- Agile/Scrum certifications

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

- Lead end-to-end architecture of Guidewire ClaimCenter implementations
- Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to align architecture with IT strategy
- Design scalable solutions for claims processing and automation

Implementation & Development

- Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of ClaimCenter modules
- Guide development teams on business rules, workflows, and UI
- Ensure adherence to development standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance

Integration & Data

- Architect integrations with external systems
- Design data migration strategies from legacy systems
- Maintain data security and compliance

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work with business analysts and claims operations to understand requirements
- Translate business needs into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership in project planning

Quality & Performance

- Ensure system performance and scalability
- Implement monitoring and logging
- Support QA in testing strategies
