Under the direction of our Team Leaders, Principal staff and EPA accredited Contaminated Land Auditor, you will support the delivery of contaminated land management and remediation projects.Core tasks will include field investigation and data collection, data interpretation and analysis, research literature & regulatory requirements, writing internal and client correspondence, and reporting. This position offers diverse tasks and will see you involved in:* Driving the delivery of a variety of projects across multiple sectors requiring Contaminated Land investigations and assessments* Undertaking field investigations, data interpretation, and report preparation* Supporting the delivery of PSIs, DSI, RAPs, Due Diligence assessments and more* Supporting various remediation tasks, developing your skills in remediation design, and assisting on complex remediation sites* Assisting in the preparation of proposals and bids* Engaging with internal and external clients and subcontractors to plan and deliver high quality outcomes* Preparing written reports including a high level of attention to detail, using an objective driven focus* Participating in strategy and innovation within the company to foster continued improvement* Participating in internal and external presentations to demonstrate learning and knowledge* Opportunity to develop team leadership skills**What you will bring**To be considered for this position, you will need to possess the following:* Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institution in environmental science, hydrogeology, geology, environmental engineering, or similar relevant degree* A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an environmental consulting role with at least 1 year operating in Australia* Demonstrated understanding and application of the national technical framework and working knowledge of SA Environmental legislation and relevant contaminated land guidelines* Proficient written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely* Experience in supporting key aspects of project management and administration, as well as subcontractor and HSE management* Fieldwork experience with an eye for detail and technical excellence* A team-first attitude and a proactive mindset* Willingness to learn from others at all career levels* Desire to ask questions and think critically about technical matters* Interest in developing your career**Perks*** Working closely with contaminated land auditors and industry leaders* Support to be involved in industry bodies* Hands-on mentoring and career development planning* Flexible work options, including WFH* Competitive salary and tailored benefits* Access to diverse, high-profile projects* Regular social events and a strong team culture* Employee Assistance Program* Birthday day offCheck out our perks here: For all enquiries or to send your application directly to us: careers@epicenvironmental.com.au* Follow on on Linkedin:* Have a look at some of our projects:**Let’s redefine environmental excellence together****#LI-Epic****We’re blazing new trails.**Forget everything you think you know about how environmental companies work.
