This boutique Interior Design studio based in Western Sydney is looking for a confident & autonomous Interior designer to join the team on an initial contract basis(with the view to transition to a permanent position). You’ll work across the entire scope of design, collaborating closely with the director, builders, project managers, and consultants to ensure projects are developed to reflect the sophistication that the high‑end clients expect.
Please note: This role will require you to have your computer/ working set up & your own Revit software license.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and contribute to all stages of interior design projects, from concept development through to completion

- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, needs, and objectives

- Develop creative and functional design solutions that align with project goals and brand identity

- Prepare mood boards, design presentations, and material selections to communicate design intent

- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery

- Production of documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency

- Participate in site visits, client meetings, and project reviews to monitor progress and resolve issues as needed

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within high‑end residential or luxury interior design.

- Strong understanding of construction detailing and documentation standards.

- Excellent attention to detail, with an eye for design and craftsmanship.

- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.
