About the role:

This is a rare opportunity for a full time permanent position. You will have a genuine affinity with food and nutrition, this shapes who you are and you will gain satisfaction from providing a high level of service as a vital member of the hospitality team.

Here’s what a typical day involves:

- Prepping food and drink.
- Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.
- Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.
- Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
- Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.

You’ll be a real team player who has:

- A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Certificate in Food Handling an advantage
- Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
- Great time management and planning skills
- Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
